All throughout the
plains we saw antelope. We were so excited - we started stopping
and taking photos as soon as we saw them - even if they were far away or
all alone. We were afraid we wouldn't see any more. By the
end of the day, I think we had seen several hundred antelopes. Had
we known how many we would see, we wouldn't have stopped for all those
early sightings!

This buck seems to be
corralling his "herd". There is also a young buck in the
photo, so maybe he was defending his harem.

sizes of herds - ranging from lone animals to herds of several dozen.
