We arrived at Arches National Park just before sunset.  The rocks glowed red in the setting sun.  Positively spectacular!  Just a few moments later, everything was dull brown in the fading light.  Timing is everything.

  We stayed the next several days in Moab, hiking and off-roading in the park.
