St. Charles Ave. Streetcar

 Sunday morning we rode the streetcar down St. Charles Ave., through the Garden District, to the Camelia Grill on Carrollton.  It's an old-timey diner, with great burgers and breakfasts.  We couldn't decide what to get, so we got the house special omelet (a 26-egg masterpiece, at least) and a burger, and split them both.  Total bill for breakfast:  about $11.  Camelia is a slice of life from times gone by - definitely an adventure worth having.

 
Dressed up for dinner at Commander's Palace Sunday night.   We had a great meal, a great time and a colorful taxi ride over there with an interesting guy who provided local color and commentary (and heard the best line ever - the hotel doorman remarked, "oh you ladies are just a little late.  All the other Victoria's Secret models just left a few minutes ago.")
